New service for Allegro users in Czechia

Allegro has signed a contract with InPost to handle shipments ordered by users of the platform to the Czech Republic. The service will launch in September to eventually expand to other countries. Allegro will open its network to logistics partners with InPost responsible for the first stage of transport, the so-called “First Mile.” A characteristic shipping label with the logos of both companies will be visible on parcels sent to Czechia via InPost courier, Paczkomat® or at a PaczkoPunkt InPost. The companies plan to handle up to 2 million parcels by the end of 2023.

- Cooperation between InPost and Allegro has been top-notch for many years. Our data show that every year the number of platform users who choose delivery to Paczkomat® units or via InPost courier is growing exponentially. Sellers on Allegro have a wide range of services that we can offer, and buyers can use their favorite Paczkomat® machines as part of Allegro Smart, or pick the multiskrytka option to pick up their parcels. This makes shopping on the Allegro platform convenient and delivery very fast. That is why InPost is an ideal partner for further innovative services such as orders sent to Czechia - said Rafał Brzoska, CEO and founder of InPost.
InPost will handle traffic on the Polish side as the new service’s first partner. Allegro’s local operator WE|DO or other partners will take over logistics in Czechia as part of one unified system managed by Allegro.

We are continuously working to improve the speed, reliability, and cost of every delivery made on behalf of the over 20,000 merchants selling on our new Czech marketplace, Allegro.cz. This new addition to the Allegro international delivery services is great news for customers and sellers alike. Parcels posted in Poland with InPost are connected to Czech “Final-Mile” operators including our very own WE|DO service. We are very pleased that our collaboration with InPost has enabled us to pioneer a new fast, simple, and scalable cross-border service.

Roy Perticucci, CEO of Allegro.

The new service includes parcels weighing up to 30 kg and overall dimensions not exceeding 220 cm (width + height + length), with the length of the longest side up to 120 cm.
