Allegro is honoured to participate in the #FamilyFriendlyCompany project
As part of the #FamilyFriendlyCompany project, the Ministry of Family and Social Policy is honouring companies with best practices that support employees in balancing work with family life. Allegro is the first tech company to be honoured with the participation in this programme.

The issue of job stability significantly influences decisions regarding having children. It is often more important than income. Allegro offers its employees stable employment and flexible working hours. It is very important that parents bringing up children can count on their employer to facilitate and help them combine work and family life"

Barbara Socha, Undersecretary of State at MRIPS and Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy

Deputy Minister Socha has recently visited Allegro. Shae talked with Sandra Bichl, Marta Mikliszańska (Senior Manager, Group Public Affairs, ESG), Paulina Babuchowska (Group, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead) and Tom Ruhan (Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Affairs) about the details of dla company’s pro-family offer.
Family is a key issue for most Poles, so Allegro understands just how important it is to find a work-life balance. More than 40 per cent of our employees say they have children, and more than 1,000 people have taken parental-related leave (almost half of them men). One of the key elements of our approach is stable employment - as many as 83% of Allegro's employees have permanent contracts, either full-time or part-time. At the same time, more than ¾ of our employees take advantage of flexible working hours, which includes hybrid or task-based working.

At Allegro, we offer solutions that on the one hand are systemic, and support the mental well-being of current and future parents on the other. The first thing is the permanent employment contract. This is a standard for us because stable employment is the basis for planning children. Of course, this is not all, because we also offer additional support, from a company nursery and kindergarten in Poznań, to all kinds of extras for childcare, school starter kits, or summer camps. Out of concern for the well-being of employees with children, we offer workshops on reconciling parental and caring roles with professional life, healthy eating, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and free support from a psychologist, lawyer and finance specialists
