Allegro leads in the retail trade category and takes third place overall in The Responsible Companies Ranking

The Responsible Companies Ranking awards were granted for the 16th time. The ceremony was held in Warsaw at the Kozminski University. Allegro successfully debuted in this prestigious ranking, becoming the leader in the retail trade industry category. In the overall ranking, the company came in a high third place, scoring 94 points out of a possible 100.

"We are extremely proud of such a high ranking in this year's edition of the ranking, especially as it is our debut. It proves to us that the actions we take are in line with the best practices on the market, as well as motivation to set further ambitious goals. As the leader of sustainable e-commerce in Poland, we are glad that by consistently implementing the goals we have set ourselves, we are becoming a role model for the entire retail industry"

Marta Mikliszańska, Head of Sustainability & Public Affairs, Allegro.

For the 16th time, the largest companies in Poland made an attempt to collect all the relevant answers in one place, the Responsible Companies Ranking 2022 survey. This year, we placed even more emphasis on assessing the level of implementation of various sustainable management declarations and policies. We have proposed a number of product indicators because, after all, real change is best seen at the level of product innovation - said Professor Boleslaw Rok, the author of the Ranking and the methodology.

The Responsible Companies Ranking is the only list of companies operating in Poland assessed in terms of the quality of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) management. The partner of ROF 2022 is the Responsible Business Forum. The content partner responsible for reviewing the responses is Deloitte, and the media partner is Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, in which the results of the Ranking were published. The author of the ranking is Professor Bolesław Rok from the Entrepreneurship Positive Impact Research Centre at Kozminski University. The ranking was published for the first time in 2007. Since its inception, almost 250 of the largest companies operating on the Polish market have already participated in the initiative. The ranking makes it possible to compare the results in individual areas of CSR between companies, and is a valuable instrument that facilitates the ordering and development of corporate responsibility strategies.
