Already 1 in 3 Polish businesses shops on Allegro every month

Allegro Biznes, a platform that combines a wide range of products, convenient delivery and attractive prices with features that elevate the business purchasing experience, has been in operation for over a year. Since it launched, Allegro has recorded a roughly 30% increase in buyers using invoices and a nearly 36% increase in business account buyers. Business customers shop frequently and their shopping cart is bigger than individual customers.

Allegro Biznes is based on the well-established Polish consumer platform, retaining all its features while adding specific tools that are useful for both buyers and suppliers of various products needed to run a business. With features such as wholesale price lists and deferred payments, the number of companies that buy their supplies on Allegro has grown significantly in the last year.

“Since Allegro Biznes launched in February 2021, we’ve recorded a roughly 30% increase in buyers using invoices and a nearly 36% increase in business account buyers. Statistically, every third Polish business shops on our platform every month. What is more, an overwhelming majority (87%) has made more than one purchase,” says Piotr Truszkowski, Head of B2B at Allegro.

The features offered by Allegro Biznes bring real savings to businesses. A great example of such savings is volume discounts, an inherent part of the services offered by the platform. For example, a construction company that buys building materials and supplies for about PLN 1,350 can save up to 20% of the initial shopping cart value by using Allegro Biznes discounts! Furthermore, any entrepreneur can save up to 15% on office paper supplies worth about PLN 1,350. Naturally, the platform also offers savings from numerous promotional campaigns, where price discounts often reach double digits.

Business customers shop frequently and their shopping cart is bigger than individual customers. Buyers are also very fond of the deferred payments on Allegro Biznes. Clients who have activated this feature use it in 7 out of 10 transactions.

Allegro Biznes is the only store with typical business payment methods that enable users to increase limits on deferred payment shopping. The platform offers the longest deferment period for businesses online (up to 60 days) while automatically creating a 12-instalment plan if the client needs more time to repay. These terms are difficult to come by in the offline world. Currently, there are as many as 190 million offers available on Allegro Biznes with even a 60-day deferment period, starting from the first purchase.

New features are constantly added to the platform to elevate the user experience and drive company engagement. Allegro Biznes’ ambition is to serve all businesses from professionals to SMEs up to large enterprises. This is why Allegro launched pilot projects that saw it join forces with Marketplanet and Loningtrade, the two strongest players in the Polish e-procurement market. The partnership between Allegro Biznes and the shopping platforms means access to the largest catalogue of products in Poland and full electronic control over procurement processes for employees in the largest corporations and large enterprises. It will facilitate processes for people responsible for business purchases in corporations and large enterprises. In addition, Allegro Biznes also develops solutions that enable sellers to reduce the unit price for wholesale purchases. This opens up the opportunity for manufacturers and wholesale sellers to sell goods at competitive prices.
